My name is Meghan and I am a modern calligraphy artist based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I've been creating ever since my parents introduced me to a little thing called finger paint. Over the years, my passion to create developed in magnet arts courses throughout elementary and middle school. By high school, I was experimenting with drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry, and woodwork. After college and several years of working in the wedding industry, I decided to teach myself calligraphy and began writing my name in those pretty script letters all over my belongings.
What started as a hobby quickly became a business with the support of my friends and family. The name, Moonlit Design Co., stemmed from my passion to create any and all works of art during late hours of the night, invigorated by innovative and challenging new pieces.
I am dedicated to offering exceptional customer service, handmade quality products, and creative designs to make a lasting impression. Because every product is handwritten, no two items are alike. My work has been featured in Pique: Fort Wayne Art & Culture Magazine (Spring 2015) and Fort Wayne Magazine's Weddings (Summer 2016). I am blessed to have worked with customers all around the country - from New York to California!
When I'm not drawing the alphabet, I can be found playing with my spunky cats, building a new DIY project, enjoying live music or theatre performances, soaking up the sun at the lake with my family, or chowing down on cuisine from the newest hip restaurant in town. I love to travel as much as possible, using my experiences as inspiration for the next big project.
